An edit that changes the meaning of a post that already has replies is confusing for everyone who replied. Keep the previous version visible.

    The part that gets me is that the setting exists on one platform and not the other, so I keep expecting it.

      I would rather they fixed the search first, honestly. This is annoying but that one blocks real work.
