Guidelines
Short version: ask for one thing, say why, and write it as a request rather than a complaint.
What makes a good suggestion
- One idea. Two ideas in one post cannot be answered, planned or shipped separately.
- A title that is the thing you want. “Add lossless audio” beats “Audio quality is bad”.
- The reason underneath. What does it unlock? What are you doing instead today?
- Check what exists. The form shows you as you type. Voting is stronger than reposting.
What gets merged
Anything that is the same request wearing different words. The votes move; nothing is lost.
What gets removed
- Abuse, harassment, or anything aimed at a person rather than a product.
- Support requests. A broken account is not a feature request — the company's support will be faster.
- Marketing for something else.
- Anything that publishes somebody's private information.
Editing
You can edit your own post. Once a company has replied to it the original text stays visible, because an answer that no longer matches its question helps nobody.
Pseudonymous participation
Use a username. Your email and real identity stay private. You may also choose “Post without my username” for an individual suggestion or comment. It will appear as Anonymous, will not link to your profile and will not appear in your public activity. ShouldAdd can still associate it with your verified account for ownership, rate limits, moderation and abuse prevention. Companies cannot reveal that association.
