I pick the chronological tab, close the app, and it has forgotten by the time I open it again. Make the choice stick until I change it.

      Adding that a keyboard shortcut for it would be enough for me — I do not need the full setting.

    I have wanted this for years and assumed there was a technical reason. If there is, saying so publicly would help.
