Show what an edited message used to say

Edits are silent apart from a small marker, which makes a thread hard to follow when the edit changed the meaning.

Fair, though the two are probably the same underlying problem.
Does this happen for you on the web version too, or only the app?
This is the one that would make me stop working around it. The workaround costs me about ten minutes a day.
It works if you go the long way round, but nobody should have to know that.
