Search returns the message but not reliably the attachment, so shared documents are hard to recover weeks later.

Does this happen for you on the web version too, or only the app?
Same here, and it is worse on a small screen.
Worth saying this used to work and quietly stopped after a redesign. It is not a new ask so much as a regression.
